We went to the zoo on Thursday! What a glorious day...

Mattie + Nick = L.O.V.E.

I was so blessed to photograph Nick and Mattie Melcher's wedding yesterday! I have known them since they were in the 4th grade and they both graduated with my son, Brent. They are a beautiful couple with a very, very special family!

Here's a quick one of Mattie before I head to church this morning.... she made we wait for these... This girl was so calm and didn't show one sign of nerves... now Nick... well, a little different! Ha! Mattie got into her beautiful gown with about 10 minutes to go before her big entrance...

Baby Ashton is One!

What a great time with Ashton! He, along with his mommy, braved the 35 degree weather without even a little whimper! We were ready to go pretty quickly to the warmth of the indoors! Thank you Ashton and Happy, Happy Birthday to YOU!

Senior 2010

I had a great time shooting Wes' senior photographs today. He is a fine young man. Although he tried to keep a smile in, we did manage to get a few great shots of some smiles! I am looking forward to showing them in a couple of weeks... here's a couple to peek at ...

It's a New Year ...

2010... already. Wow. Isn't it amazing how fast the years move along. A time for reflection, a time for remembering the joys of the past year and a time for looking to the future. What's ahead for In His Image Photography? For me as a person, wife, mother and Mia? (that's Averi's name she is learning for me ;) I have some goals and things I'd like to do, both personally and professionally. I hope each of you have great things ahead for you too!

This year my son will marry his sweetheart. It seems amazing to think he will be a married young man. He begins college again and we are so proud of him. Heather and Scott will celebrate their 5th anniversary! Averi will reach the wonderful age of two in August.

My theme this year will be: "Be Inspired. Hope. Dream. Believe." These are the things I believe in and hope for all of you. May this year be inspiring and more than you can imagine!

Can't wait to see what God has for In His Image Photography and my family this year!
